Concreate

Concreate is us:
five designers in their third year of university who, partly by chance and partly by luck, met while working on a few academic projects. From those collaborations, something unexpected emerged: not just a working group, but a true collective where each person found their own place.

Our approach?
We aim to create design that truly works, but also has something to say. We're not only interested in solving practical problems, we want every project to tell a story, create connections, and have a strong identity.
For us, every project is an opportunity to experiment and learn something new, combining our different sensibilities to achieve concrete results.
It's no coincidence that our name, Concreate, brings all of this together: CON for union, CREATE for creation, and a reference to CONCRETE, representing the practicality and grounded nature of our way of working.

We rely heavily on collaboration and open dialogue:
we challenge ourselves, motivate one another, and discuss every detail — sometimes quite passionately. The atmosphere is relaxed and collaborative — we like it that way — but when needed, we know how to bring out our most professional and reliable side.
And, let's be honest, beyond being colleagues we're also friends: this bond makes everything more authentic and natural.

Our goal?
To keep growing together and, one day, open our own studio where we can fully express this shared vision. We are Martina Notario, Gabriele Oss Emer, Filippo Rosellini, Mariia Smirenskaia, and Guglielmo Springer — and in the meantime, we're enjoying the journey.

QUEER PROJECT

Q1

A table designed to welcome.

The circular top becomes the center to gather around, while the three protruding legs define a light and open structure. Their configuration breaks away from traditional rigidity, encouraging a freer and more natural arrangement in space.

The contrast between the material richness of the top and the lightness of the metal structure creates a discreet balance, where form and function coexist naturally.

An object that interprets the everyday gesture of sharing, transforming the table into a place for connection.

U2 Bench

The bench was conceived as a flexible and shared solution, capable of accommodating multiple people and encouraging informal, dynamic seating. It is enriched by stackable cushions that, when needed, can be used as independent seats on the floor, offering flexibility and fostering moments of interaction.
